Context capture

The Ox App turns your phone into a capture device. Record a hallway conversation, a voice note to your future self, or an impromptu decision the moment it happens — it lands in SageOx as a recording, transcribed and ready for extraction, alongside everything captured by the Ox Dot, the Console Recorder, and uploads.

When to use this

Reach for the Ox App when the discussion is happening away from your desk and you don't have an Ox Dot in the room.

Install the app

The Ox App is available for iOS and Android.

  • iOS — download from the App Store (link coming at launch)
  • Android — download from Google Play (link coming at launch)

Sign in with the same account you use on the web. The app pairs to your teams automatically — no extra setup.

The Ox App captures audio only. For screen recordings and video walkthroughs, use video import.

Record on the go

  1. Open the Ox App and tap Record
  2. Pick the team the recording belongs to
  3. Talk — a live timer and level meter confirm capture is running
  4. Tap Stop when you're done

If you lose signal mid-recording, the app keeps a local safety copy and resumes upload when your connection returns. A recording is never dropped because the network blinked.

Where your recordings land

A recording from the Ox App follows the same path as every other capture mechanism: it's transcribed, speakers are separated, and an AI coworker extracts the decisions, action items, and key context. The result flows into your Team Context, where humans and AI coworkers can find it.

You'll see the finished recording in your team's Media section on the web, the same place Ox Dot and Console recordings appear.
