Steve Yegge came by our Belltown office

Last week, Steve Yegge came by our new office in Belltown to see what we've been building.

We had a lot to show him. We gave him previews of a couple of big features still in the works, and caught him up on the latest developments since we last compared notes.

As usual, Steve was full of ideas. He doesn't so much watch a demo as start building on it out loud — what it could become, who would want it first, how to explain it to someone seeing it for the first time. We left with a pile of new ideas and a fresh dose of inspiration.

He was just as generous with encouragement. When you live inside your own product every day, it matters to watch someone with Steve's vantage point see it fresh, and get excited about where it's headed.

We can't say much about those features yet. We can say we're eager to share publicly what we showed Steve. It won't be long.
